Keep the user's words intact
The original letter stays visible throughout the correspondence. Follow-up questions can add context, but they do not replace the user's account of the situation.
Use one Object as a prompt
Each letter receives one of 36 original Objects. Its story offers details to notice, not an authoritative conclusion. If the user chooses a detail, they explain why it caught their attention before AI prepares a reply; they can also continue without the Object.
Separate possibilities from facts
A reply frames what may be unsaid and the tension underneath as possibilities. It does not claim access to another person's thoughts, predict an outcome, or turn missing information into certainty.
Make choices inspectable
Two or three realistic choices are described by what each protects, what it costs, and what it asks of you. The app does not choose for you or turn reflection into a required task.
Let the correspondence continue
The finished reply is saved in Letters. You can bookmark a line to Memory or write what has changed in the same correspondence; the original Object and context remain intact.
